Jim Edwards was Fantastic
Aside from a couple (ahem…) technical problems, Jim Edwards laid the smack down on the audience. Jim gave an excellent presentation on multi media, especially multi-media newsletters.
Using multimedia in your newsletters does a number of things, including
- proving that you can produce good content, consistantly
- builds rapport with your readers
- sets you apart from the others in your niche
The technology has finally caught up… it's time to utilize it. You can see an example in Jim's own newsletter at http://www.igottatellyou.com
Jim also laid out a "e-class" strategy. Combine text with video and audio to create a weekly training course on whatever your niche is. If you've laid the groundwork with a multi-media newsletter, and you subscribers trust you and know that you can produce good content consistantly, you can sell seats at an e-class for $200+.
Then, when it's all done, you've got a physical product (burn it to CD) that you can sell forever.
